Organizing my woopers plus some old cards I saved from a peeling binder

I have no idea how to arrange these

honestly any way you want! my first page is just cards I really like and then the rest of based on oldest to newest (kind of)

I have mine arranged as first page bulbasaur then rainbow order after that

Organizing Pokemon cards used to be like my favorite past time I would spend days organizing all my cards and then when I finish I mix them all up again and would find a new way to organize them (I don’t know why kept doing this)
but eventually I made them in order of the national Pokédex and that’s how they still are to this day although I likely have forgotten the Pokédex number of a LOT of Pokemon by now but if I at least have an approximation they are always really easy to find when I look for specific ones

And I have multiple cards of many of the same pokemon too so in that case I order them by HP, if that’s the same then I do it by how much damage their attacks do
(for cards with like 10+ or 20x for example I usually just add 15 to the original count to approximate but I know I could’ve come up with something better if I wasn’t lazy)

I'd recommend saving them. People go crazy for old promos, including McDonald's promos. You can also look up the price of the card on TCG Player and sell it when you think the price is right

Pro tip

If you happen to have a one of the old gen 1 virtual consoles

And or know a friend with a gold and silver virtual console (this can be done on the og hardware too virtual console is just a little more accessible)

You can have them trade over their shiny red gyarados from the lake of rage to your gen 1 copy

You would then go encounter a ditto and allow it to transform into the gyarados

Because gen 1 is scuffed like that, ditto when caught will retain the general DV stats of what it had transformed into

And because of how shinies used to be determined (based on DV distribution), transferring it back to that gen 2 game will result in the ditto being shiny

(This is especially silly because, since shininess was determined off of DVs, and breeding allows for you to transfer some of the parent stats down, you have significantly higher chances of breeding another shiny pokemon using this ditto)

I was playing a pokemon leaf green nuzlocke and I completely forgot about the rival battle on nugget bridge(because I don’t usually play kanto games I grew up on gen 2,3,4) I forgot to grab potions, my pokemon were underleveled but my strongest was Ivysaur
3/4 of my rival’s pokemon were strong against Ivysaur(Pidgeotto, Abra and Charmeleon) and somehow Ivysaur came in clutch and managed to Leech Seed, Sleep Powder and Mega Drain his way to killing pokemon 2-4 levels higher them him(if sleep powder failed once we would have died)

Basil(Ivysaur) keeps saving me me during so many stupid decisions I made because I never fully played a kanto game before, bro is such a trooper and I love him very dearly

Oh my attacks are devious munch, 1 fairy energy but it has to be from flashfire, I point and shout, you look, and I eat one of your cards, then flip 4 coins, if two of them are tails, I get some kind of digestive poisoning for ingesting ink.
My other attack is Rule Bending, once per battle for free I can just tell you that you can't take a prize card and you have to put it back. Downside is that i have to shave my head bald each time I do it.

They also incentivise doing living dexes because they'll give you special reward pokemon for doing so!
