I really hope they stop rushing out the games soon

arceus was worked on at the same time as s/v

four years isn't enough for a good game, as evidenced by all of the switch games

swsh was bad enough with "ocarina of time trees" and lack of animation

and scarlet/violet is non functional even with the patches

yeah i was honestly really disappointed with the graphical quality of s/v and arceus... play new pokemon snap the graphics are very lovely

honestly new pokemon snap is a really lovely game, i enjoy it a lot. i don't think any other pokemon game has gotten me that excited because a pokemon was pretty haha

i don't think Scarlet and Violet can be truly classified as games

it's more of a tragic art piece that you can experience by putting it in your switch at a full $60 price

do the stats gained DURING THE LEVEL UP count towards the equal stats

like, if it had equal stats at lv19 and got an extra attack point on its 20th level up, would it evolve into hitmonchan

Happy Pokémon World Championships everyone

I wanna preface that this is my first time watching a Pokémon Tournament and that I don’t have too much knowledge on how things work. If you can give me more insight then thanks.

Howdy, like I said earlier I’d talk about Worlds. It was alright for what it was, I was mostly watching VGC Masters and some TCG Masters on Saturday and Sunday. I’m gonna start with my biggest issue and that’s the downtime between battles, it feels too long. It doesn’t help that I watched EVO and Supernova/Super Smash Con, and the transitions games and sets was a lot more snappy and quicker. Granted Worlds used Swiss Rounds and they probably wanna give the trainers time to work on strategies between each round, but it feels longer than it needs to be. The matches themselves were pretty good, at least from what I understand. There’s a bit more things that I wanna talk about but I don’t know if I can really walk about them here since it’s about Verlisify showing up in the chat, the game disconnecting at some point, and the controversy surrounding Ian Robb’s hand gesture getting him DQ’d. But overall I feel like I need more viewer experience to get it. They did a couple announcements and due to being caught in hype, thought we were getting Legends ZA news. We didn’t, but got news on the TCG, Unite, and Worlds 2025 and 2025 taking place in California. (Anaheim and San Francisco respectively.) Needless to say that I feel like an absolute clown on that end. Overall, I feel like I need to watch more to get a better sense of how I feel, but it felt kinda botched when the games were on downtime.
