Hi! Did you get any feedback on the latest version responding really very slow to all commands and most of the time not executing the commands at all?
Since I reported the last bug, that MB was not able to read commands from the mini x touch, the latest version looked very promising. But now I often get the response: "Mobilflight is not responding".
Any idea what could be wrong?
#version 11.1.0.6 beta sooo slow

The latest and best version that worked fine was the "escape" version 0.0.3001.2980.
But since I am using MB also for commanding my WinCntrl MCDU, this version does not work for that.
Version 11.1.0.6 worked fine in the beginning, but now all commands are heavily "delayed" or not executed at all.... 🙁
Hold on... I just created a complete new project , attached the files that I was using in the old existing project, and now all of a sudden the responses are okay again. Beats me...
But still version 11.1.0.6 takes ages to start up...
do you have so many controller connected?
maybe there was something in the config file that was causing exceptions during execution?
Please keep an eye on it... i dont want that people say MobiFlight was slow
I am putting too much heart and effort into it - and it should be super responsive and not consuming a lot of CPU and mem
especially when running in the background
I have 2 arduino mega connected, 1 Wincntrl MCDU and one Mini x touch. Doing service as a home built mini cockpit.
So Mobiflight must really work hard to execute all commands. Until this evening no problems what soever, but strange enough it was very slow on start-up and executing ANY command. I will keep you posted.
11.1.0.7 just dropped
this is definitely not normal, try to think what changed when it became slow. Also try reboot and see if you can make it happen again, and if so, any clue what would trigger it?
Just installed 11.1.0.7 and this looks really good again. MB very responsive on all entries.
ok, did anything else change between versions?
I don't think so. Maybe the format for input actions. I wonder if one of the intermediate betas lead to some processing issues of the configs which then end up becoming exceptions. exception handling can hit the cpu, especially if it is happening a couple of times per second... but this is only a guess.
yeah, I meant this for @bronze spindle
just to maybe have a hint what could be the cause even if it doesnt happen anymore
No nothing changed between the versions. I logged off my PC with the ....6 version and saw today that Sebastian uploaded version ....7. After installing this latest version, MbF worked again as it always did.
Ok. Let's keep an eye on this and we close this in the mean time... just create a new post in case it is happening again.
