I recently changed my encoders to 2 detents per cycle which for me sped up the heading / spd etc, however one of the encoders stopped working and it does not respond to MF in the log or scan, however the only setting it works on is 4 detents per cycle, with this set I it responds but not the the correct setting so I can’t use it, the other 3 settings don’t work, it worked on the first setting for a while, any ideas what it might be ?

You can't change encoder type to try and speed things up. Encoder type is specific to how your encoder sends values on change. You need to use the one that matches your hardware

Well in other words i changed it to the correct setting, I was wrong one before, but the encoder is now only responding to the 4 detent
