#A320 throttle

Hi there.
I have my version of a throttle block ready for my "mobile and simplified home cockpit" (here: https://www.printables.com/model/1226200-remix-of-airbus-style-throttle-quadrant-major-upda).
And i'm working on my version 2 of my motorized trim wheel as i'm not totally happy with my V1.
How do you motorize the wheel and how do you translate the approx 8 full turns of the wheel into about 0,8 turns of the indicator ring? Just being curious....
I use three gears plus Indicator gear with internal teeth, between wheel and indicator ring: 20 teeth -> 20 ->47 -> 140 (internal teeth). This leads to something near the ratio you are talking. But i only test it two times for an hour, it worked well (no option here for manual use of wheel), but have no clue if this is useable for 100 hours. Many moving parts. When i finally finish the cockpit in the near future (its like will all big instrastructure projects, massivly over budget and behind schedule 😄 ), i will know.
I thought it was a 1:10 ratio
I just use a 2 stage gear box to go to like 1:33333 and then 1:3 so gear ratio is multiplied so it’s like 1:9.99999 but that’s 1:10 so
To connect the 2 I just had a bar with gears with same module but different teeth amount
You can see that at the bottom of the first image
Then mirrored to the other side
For the right side trim wheel
I’ll try to send photos of the updated gear bit since the second photo is incorrect
Essentially the big gear that connects the shaft of the trim wheel to the left is the one that’s motorised
That shaft that connects the 2 has another gear thing to make space for the potentiometer to see the wheel spin
In the sim
Only issue is that I think there will be quite a bit of backlash when I actually manufacture it but I’ll tweak the tolerances
If I may ask, what datarefs do you use to put as the throttles?
I can’t figure that out other than to make the arduino a joystick emulator

Sorry cant really help there, I use two potis for the throttles, FS2024 and use the FENIX A320 and the corresponding actions in Mobiflight. I did my config like in the potentionmeter documentation of MF: https://docs.mobiflight.com/devices/potentiometer/

@dreamy flare As far as i've read in the official docs (from a friend at Airbus in Hamburg) it is not fully 1:10 as you then would see the other end when the indicator ring turns to a fully end (which hopefully never happens during flight).
Second, my throttle is not utilizing MF but an Arduino Leonardo working as an HID.
Third, in my design for the wheel is already in consideration, that under some circumstance (which also never happen during flight) the trim wheel can be moved manually.
I just wanted to know how you are making the partly turning of the indicator ring compared to the wheel.
The idea with the inner teeth is nice....
Sorry, i made a small mistake yesterday and my old brain mixed up some numbers.
Of course, the ratio is 1:10.
But the wheel itself makes only approx. 8 full turns, which makes 0,8 turns of the indicator.

Basically I have a tab that is glued onto the second teeth
And that tab connects to the indicator
So the second stage gear teeth spin, so does the tab
There’s better ways to do it probably but I don’t know
You can probably make stoppers to limit the range of it
