Mf11 is just the beta. Post a screenshot of your main mobiflight window
Hello, thanks for your replay. I have already a beta version, so maybe this prevents updating to MF11 (I got a message that says that updates check is skipped because of that)
This is the message
well that's the issue. you're running a build that was downloaded and unzipped from a pull request on GitHub, it's not one of the released builds of Mobiflight. Do you recall why you did that? Perhaps to test a fix out?
No I simply thought this was the most recent update. So now I will download the default 10.5 version and then launch the updates check, right?
yeah, that's exactly what I was going to suggest. Go to https://www.mobiflight.com/en/index.html, install the version from there, then check the beta checkbox and it should do what you're expecting
as for upgrading .mcc files, you simply open them in the beta
Thank you very much Neil!
report back once you have the beta installed so we know it's solved and can close this
I'll do!
Hello I got version 10.5.3.14 and looks like the new interface (btw ...why is called 11?). I could not modify the install directory, but I normally have all my addons under D:FStools. Can I move the whole dir from users/appdata/local/,,,, to my Fstools dir or this will crash MF ? Or how can I chose the install dir?
And this is the screen after I connected my home cockpit and launched MF with my previous mcc file loaded. Seems Ok, I will make a test flight now to see if it works fine!
I hope to be able to activate my FMC (winwing PFP-3N) display, inputs were working fine also with previous version.
No, you can't just move it. Mobiflight doesn't support installing to other locations if you download the installer. If you really want to be in a different location, you have to manually download the zip and extract it somewhere.
Personally, I also keep all my stuff under a separate drive, but for mobiflight I don't bother. I just have it installed as it wants to.
Here's the steps for getting the display working: https://docs.mobiflight.com/game-controllers/winwing/winwing-cdu/
Instructions on how to use the WINWING CDU with MobiFlight.
Now my PFP 3N displayed "mobiflight" but after that sows Error: Python not ready, but I Installed python and the pip install gql websockets simconnect --upgrade --no-warn-script-location
that's a question for someone like @vapid nacelle
Ok thanks for your support, now I'll study the new version!
Too see the cause, in need a debug log
How to share logs from MobiFlight when requesting support.
They figured it out in another thread, Python wasn't in the path
