#LED device not working

I have a 5mm LED, connected as shown in the picture with the longer end to the resistor of 220 Ohm and the shorter end to ground. However it’s not lighting up. The wires are connected to LED 1 on the prototyping board.

Any ideas on what might be going wrong? Thanks!

I’m trying to connect it to pmdg 737-800 viaFSUIPC offset.

I’m pretty sure it’s a software problem, but not absolutely certain

does it light up if you press the test option under output config?

No

show screenshots of your config so we can see what you have set

The resistor is the problem!!

#

If I bypass the resistor of 220 Ohm, it worked

#

Am I using the wrong ohm value?

could be a faulty resistor or the wrong value. Have you got a multimeter to test that it works?

We have detailed docs on wiring LEDs, including suggested resistor values, at docs.mobiflight.com

I looked at it, it said 220 right?

220 ohm should be good. Actually anything between 150 to 500 ohm should work.

#

Make sure it is not a 220K ohm 😃

#

That would be 1000 times too big.

220 Ohm worked great!
