Prosim Winwing mcdu and mobiflight.

I have prosim a320, winwing mcdu and mobiflight running on same pc.

The issue I'm having is. It starts to load prosim on the winwing mcdu but ends with " websocket error: server rejected websocket connection . Http 501" in mobiflight. Has anyone seen this error or done anything about it?

I'm not aware of any support for Prosim aircraft with the MCDU. It's not listed on https://docs.mobiflight.com/game-controllers/winwing/winwing-cdu/

Has the user got Prosim CDU program running? It must be running somewhere on the network talking to the main prosim system for MF to be able to access it

Yes it is running on the same pc

make sure you aren't running SimAppPro, as it seems to fight with Mobiflight

Sometimes I find if it gets stuck, pulling out the usb c and putting it back in usually does the trick

I have figured it out and it's working now. For some reason it was the TCP port. Can you please share some love ... winwing (FCU and efis) profile for prosim

I finally got sometime to myself so I made a few screenshots of my settings and port setting that have worked. Anyone runs into this issue first needs to make sure python , WebSocket and all the dependencies are installed correctly . Launch prosim systems and mcdu program first. Second launch Mobiflight. After that launch Flight sim.

@copper moss So this has all the panels I currently use, if you remove the tabs for the PCB's you dont have you'll be able to narrow it down to the winwing ones. My right EFIS I currently have setup for some custom things so the 5 buttons currently to ABrakes Low, Med High, master caution and warning. Then the dials change the EFIS screen and the VOR2 switch swaps ND display to lower ECAM

I think the original may just be switched off on the right so you can simply turn them back on (I think, not looked at it for a while)

Hello, ok so I got around to try out the profile. it seems its only got EFIS-FCU setup for fenix , and flybywire NX. prosim assignments are missing unless I really missed something.

Have you cleared the combined config in prosim to avoid clashes?

yes config in prosim are set to Not connected

I know you say this is all for prosim but FCU profiles in that master file are named for 320nx and Fenix. No FCU pointing to prosim a320.

those are likely just the names/labels - if you go into each one they will be set to prosim

you are right. I must be missing some trivial thing. Because FCU/efis doesn't work at all with prosim a320. Test is working. Your mcdu file also works flawlessly. Any guess at all? Everything is running on local PC. FS, prosim, mobiflight.
In prosim I have tried selecting simconnect as well as fsuipc. It's the same result. My fsuipc is registered version but not updated to latest release.
Mobiflight connects to fs2020, prosim etc

Yes I am using your prosim A320 master.mcc .. I removed all the other panels from it. Only kept FCU EFIS. Winwing FCU and EFIS. I assigned my winwing efis FCU to yours in orphaned dialog when I first launched it

Any ideas or guess? Your defined fsuipc offsets should work straight, once applied to orphaned wingwing ? Right. None of the buttons, toggle or displays work with prosim and winwing efis / FCU.

i made a short view video as you can see they all point to fsuipc. sorry for very short 10 sec video since i don't have Nitro. but all fcu efis items point to fsuipc not any prosim events

those are ALL turned off, can you scroll down to the ones that are turned on and clear the search filter at the top?

As I am only interfacing wingwing efis and FCU that's why I set the filter but I can remove it. Unfortunately the video I can only upload 10 secs... I have tried all Efis/FCU entries . None the less. I'll do it again as suggested and report back

Perfect this works . FCU display and encoders work. But buttons do not. I'll try troubleshooting for few days unless you might know the issue. For example efis panel buttons work one time.

check they are set to 1 on press and 0 on release and that they are not also configured in prosim

The right EFIS is set to my own custom functions but I’m fairly sure the stock functions are there just turned off

they work flawlessly for me - ohhhhhh one thought, go into settings on ProSim, and check which buttons are set to momentary/latching and make sure they are all set to momentary

Yes and it worked for me as well. But I'm trying to figure out how to set baro to standard on pull. Secondly another weird issue . I just pulled in second winwing CDU and buttons on mcdu are controlling both CDU screens.

re: the CDU that config only has 1 winwing MCDU on it, the other MCDU I use a pcb I made myself.

Yes I am using these from flightsim.to . I thought those are your files also? One mcdu is controlling other CDU as well. For example going to pref page . It brings it on other mcdu as well. I'll troubleshoot it a bit. Must be conflicting

In simpro. I made sure they are captain and copilot. And in prosim as well you have identify mcdu as capt or f/o or standalone.

excellent and you physically disconnected and reconnected the usb them from PC after allocating in simapppro? just restarting PC doesn’t have an effect

and you have an instance of capt cdu and fo cdu running on the network?

Yes sir and it's working now. So what's happened is both capt and f/o SDK files are pointing to cdu1 keys. I had to change them to cdu2 in mobiflight.

I'd like to report. All the functions are working in prosim 320. Need your advice on controlling winwing FCU lighting via analog pot. So what I tried is. Input setup to prosim FCU lighting and output also setup to same. But that doesn't work.

so the output is already correct, it will be the input you need to fiddle with. Mine is set via encoder instead of pot so I’m not sure how to advise. You will need interpolation for the pot @elder vortex are you able to advise about pots?

I’ve not got it working properly at the moment it literally does brighten dim and off I always just leave it on dim and have never gone back to actually sort it properly

I was also thinking of going a more direct mode rather than any aircraft Addon. So basically pot controlling FCU lighting directly rather than dimming prosim lighting which in turns winwing FCU lighting. But no idea if that's even possible

one thing that also never worked on winwing mcdu is dim brt. it doesn't dim prosim mcdu display popout and it doenst dim winwing lcd display, yours works?

because the screen is text base not an actual video signal I don’t believe brt/dim works on winwing, I could be wrong. It’s never bothered me enough to explore really

it is possible, read to MF variable

then create output for same MF variable

use interpolation on modifier tab

and send it to the FCU backlight

or whatever, as long as the thing can be dimmed

if there is an output for it in MF under the device

hello, thanks for ur answer. I have created MF variable and assigned my pot to it. Then created output for the same MF variable and using interpolation on modifier tab as the picture shows. doesn't work. However test works. so I am doing it wrong.

@ is the pot value, usually 0 - 1023 but in practice something like 12 to 1007 or so whatever each pot does

then you can use those in interpolation to map to whatever range the device expects

Hello man. It's me again in the new year. For some reason my A/THR button doesn't engage in prosim a320 using winwing FCU. Everything else works fine..I've deleted and re-added the A/THR but nope. Won't engage. Test works , buttons press works. Any ideas at all?
