Hi all, I have an issue that used to not be present but now is. My minifcu and mobiflight program used to work perfectly, in the sense that I could launch the program, with the device connected and carry on with a flight in FS2020 or 2024. What is happening now is like the minifcu is getting reset to some weird firmware, because it cannot “auto” run anymore. The only solution is to upload the mobiflight firmware each time I start mobiflight and each time I want to change aircraft or MCC files. Anyone know why this is happening? Or is this normal?

Having the miniFCU loaded with "some weird firmware" is not very specific. It sounds like you have some other software installed that is checking for the miniFCU and proceeding to upload a new firmware. I'd say find and get rid of that software and retry.
Check Windows Task Manager and the windows tray, also check what programs are autoloaded at start of Windows.

I only mean “weird firmware” because whatever happens to it, it doesn’t get recognized by mobiflight. I don’t have anything else on my computer

What com port is your minifcu on and check that nothing else is trying to use the same com port. Has it ever worked?

How do I check that? Is there a guide? It worked a long time ago when I first started using mobiflight + MSFS for the minifcu. Somewhere along the way it stopped working

Look at device manager and look for the CH340 device, in it's name it will display the com port and that com port is where mobiflight should detect it as well. If you still have trouble and your using FBW or Fenix, may I suggest as a test that you use DLS, reflash the minufcu with that and start DLS, start the sim and load up FBW A320 or a Fenix A320 and check the fcu works. If ok then comeback to Mobiflight, it will detect it deff not mobiflight minifcu firmware and prompt to reflash. Just thought, reinstall the ch340 drivers.

It's the software from Minicockpit, did you not use their installation guide?
You can't use DLS and Mobiflight at the same time but you'll know if you can flash it ok.
