Hi if I have two different profiles for two different panels to make work how do I make them both work?

Just open both profiles at the same time

You click the + icon to the right of your open profile then select "From existing project" and navigate to your .mcc file for the second panel.

From much fiddling around I think you really want to start by creating a 'New Project' from the File menu. That will present you with a completely empty framework to start building up your cockpit configuration.
