Mapping an LVAR from the JF F28

Hello,

I am not someone who is ever going to use Mobiflight as a profile creator. I am hoping I can find someone who can tell me how to do one specific thing without me devoting the time to learning the whole program through tutorials.

I am trying to map the vertical speed knob on the WinWing FCU to the pitch up and pitch down switch on the pedestal of the JustFlight Fokker 28. I am using this profile to control the FCU, but this creator has mapped it for the version with the altitude preselector that lets you dial in the vertical speed, and thus with this profile it doesn't work using the older altitude select equipment.

I believe I have identified the relevant LVAR: F28_PED_Pitch_Down_Switch which reads at 1 in neutral, 0 for pitch down, and 2 for pitch up. I have gotten as far as the attached screenshot but at this point I don't know what to do. I cannot find that LVAR in any of the preset drop downs. Can I not map to this LVAR without a preset? Is there a place where I can just type it in?
