Hi there,
due to "reasons" i have to re-design some of my home-cockpit modules.
Is it possible to connect a poti to a Mega running MF and MF sends (?) the value as "normal" Axis-Level to MSFS2020 where this can be matched to any possible axis know by MSFS2020?

Yes, i know that i can use potis with MF and i did in the past.
But i don't know how to configure MF to "act" as an typical joystick axis which MSFS would "understand" as a normal joystick axis (e.g. for the tiller).

No. Mobiflight does not pose the potentiometers as joystick axes to Windows. Mobiflight can read the axes and send instructions to the simulator.
Including tiller instructions.

Yes, this is the more precise description.
Honestly, i don't care what MF exatly does 😎 , as long as my poti will be recognized by MSFS2020 as the desired control, where the signal typically comes from a joystick.

You can use a pro micro board and run a HID joystick sketch that will appear as a Windows HID device.
But that is outside of what we can support here.
Totally outside of Mobiflight. However, Mobiflight could still read those axes and buttons from Windows and send instructions to the Sim.

Yes, this is what i've tried several times by now, but - and i don't know how - in the meantime i grilled 4 pro micros and can't recover them back to life. They are dead.
And for only one axis spending more money in these? No. Thank you, but no.

I think you answered your question, then. There are a bunch of sources in www that say how it is done. I have done it for an old yoke that I replaced the internal electronics. I just suggested merely that there is an alternative outside of Mobiflight.

Although i do not like the user interface of discord (due to my age i'm comming from the analog world back in the 1980s) , i love this community.
Believe it or not, after some more searching in the www (the second result page in google is almost the dark web ...🙈) i found a way to de-brick my Pro Micros.
Now i can go on with my original plan ...
But what the hack should i do with 4 pro micros now, when i only need one? 🤔
