#Configuration brakes Mobiflight

What input device are you using for them? A button? Potentiomter? Something else?
Assuming it uses the standard sim events, you can try the ones under Microsoft / Generic / Gear
There's an AXIS LEFT BRAKE SET and AXIS RIGHT BRAKE SET
if use one potenziometer
create two input configs mapped to the same pot
you can the screnshot how i do
You can do it. Make two different input configs, each mapped to the same potentiometer, but mapped to the different events.
If you need help learning how to configure a potentiometer see https://docs.mobiflight.com/devices/potentiometer/configuring-device/
I'm not familiar with mobiflight
How to start using MobiFlight with flight simulators
I'll try and let you know
thank's now
I did ; but as I turn the potentiometer the brake brakes and then immediately goes back up
Make sure you have disabled any brake mappings in the simulator UI for any keyboards, joysticks, etc. you have connected to the PC
I'm trying it and I see what you mean, it's really bouncing around a lot
I think it might just be the animation. When I look at the BRAKE LEFT POSITION EX1 value as I move my axis, it seems to be going from 1 to 0, which is correct. Have you tried moving the plane and applying the brakes with the pot to see if it works?
It seems to work. When I applied left brake while taxiing the plane veered right
Shouldn't the plane veer left when only left brake is applied?
hmmm, maybe 😅
it's work thank's
yay!!!
Neil,
I also have to set the various autopilot buttons:
- AP
-HDG - NAV
- APR
- VS
- ALT
which variables to use?
I found the variable for AP and HDG, but I can't find the rest
ALT = ?
VS =?
APR =?
NAV =?
the aircraft is B99 COMMUTER
They are all under Microsoft / Generic / Autopilot. I don't know if they will work for "B99 Commuter" but they probably will. https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/presets/?vendor=Microsoft&aircraft=Generic&system=Autopilot&presetType=Input
HubHop is an API which consolidates Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 variables and events and provides unique, understandable and standardized events and variables.
AP_ALT_HOLD, etc.
