what is a "Phidgets relay card"? Do you have a link?
Sorry Interface Kit:

This product supports our Phidget21 libraries. Use as a drop-in replacement for legacy systems.
Doubt that this would work with any protocol that MF understands
No, we don't support that, and paying $55 for a relay board is insane. You can buy relay boards that take a 5V signal and work with mobiflight from just about any site, including Amazon and AliExpress for a few dollars each.
Yes exactly. I've never used it for my project, but it takes a 5v signal to trigger so it should work as if it were an LED in mobiflight.
I have some upstairs, I can give it a quick try after the football game if nobody else confirms first
Ok, so its programmed like a LED ok, i sort of get the idea on this.
Yeah. Led is really just an on or off signal
Funny, we were just talking about this in our documentation rewrite 🙂
Ah well thats interesting. Well ill order one in time and have a play around with it. But i think the concept is sound on this
I can confirm for you later today, but it will work. I found another thread about using them.
to control power to a servo
just be careful that you order one that uses 5V data signals. Sometimes the listings offer 5V, 12V, and 24V variants. I ordered 12V once by accident 😦
Ok, will do, yeha i saw there is a selection so ill make sure i use that, was just going to re-wire so 5v USB CPU Fans
What for? You want a breeze in your hair while flying? 😆
The switching voltage and the switched voltage can ne very different with relays
There's enough setups out there that drive 230 V from a 3.3 V signal
They are amazing devices
Pretty much every smart plug works that way
Works like a charm. Just remember those relays need +5V and GND in addition to the data signal. These are the exact ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B095YD3732?ie=UTF8&th=1
that click sound is so satisfying
Hi @pine mica Setting up stick Shaker and thanks for your help. As only need one, assume this will work with 12v from the PSU and 5v from the mega?

I'm not super familiar with relays, and this is a year old thread. I suggest starting a post in #1216045182915576028 instead and someone can chime in
