Hi Guys,
I want to build a landing gear lever for the boeing 777. I saw your video, In the video you are using a arduinio Mega 2560 rev3. its to expensiv for me does the Arduino Mega 2560 Pro Mini also works? Thanks

Original Mega 2560 Rev3 is expensive. You can get a clone with CH340 chip which is here used by many people.
Mega 2560 Pro Mini (with CH340) has exactly the same functionality as Mega 2560 Rev3 and its clones..
The only difference is much smaller footprint.

it is exactly what I wrote in my first message - those are clones and they work fine. 🙂
These are clones because Arduino boards are open source so everyone can make them.

there are board on Aliexpress or Amazon that are problematic becaue they have counterfeit CH340 chip which is used instead of other chip on original Arduino Mega boards.
However, I got ~20 boards from the store I linked above and all were legit and working jut fine

Yeah, I understand it might be overwhelming

Yeah, I second Marek’s store recommendation. I also bought Arduino Megas from them and never had a problem. Just my preference though, get the one with the USB Type B connector. I found that the USB C or Micro USB connectors tend to break off easily.
