#WASM module install "failed" but didn't really

To help diagnose your problem we need to see your MobiFlight logs. Follow the steps in this wiki to get them: Providing logs from MobiFlight
You need to launch MF Connector before starting MSFS
To be more precise, I think the issue is that MF Connector will now not allow installing the wasm module if the simulator is running.
If the wasm module is already in the Community folder, MFConnector can start after the simulator without any issues.
A screenshot of the "It won't install the WASM" message you see would be helpful
this
probably because I had the sim running
I'm in middle of a flight, but I'll try it out after i land
@bronze oasis the WASM message was only there after I updated the app
How would I get back to that screen to download the WASUM, it has a picture of the TBM on it
I mentioned how in my first reply. Go to the Extras > Microsoft Flight Simulator > Install WASM module in the menu
I Apologize I didn’t see
It might display a message saying wasm cannot be installed when it already exists.
That bug's been fixed
First quick thing to check, please, is to enable logs in settings and then try doing Extras > Microsoft Flight Simulator > Install WASM module from the menu. Then share the logs here. The bot is about to say how to do that.

Ok the install worked fine, you can ignore that message completely.
yeah, it's fine, you can ignore the error. We fixed this before release but I guess not 😦
ok let me boot up the sim see what happens, thanks
I opened a bug for this 😦
WASM module install "failed" but didn't really
@patent moth if you are able, there's a zip file attached to this that you can download, extract, and run MFConnector from. Then try updating the wasm module, it should show success instead of failure. You can just extract it somewhere on your PC to do the test, then delete it after. It won't affect your 10.5 install at all. https://github.com/MobiFlight/MobiFlight-Connector/pull/1917#issuecomment-2591433752
if you're able to do that with logs enabled and share the logs again it'd help confirm my fix is good
I've just run MF and updated. WASM error is still there as before. Just editting up EFIS for 1st time with MF. EDit: Changing over to beta, efis not showing otherwise.
