Does anyone have any idea why these switches sometimes don't work (every switch that got connected by the wire and not cover thing does not work)

If you have the log running, do you see the switches being operated in the bottom window and the expected function being mentioned. Check security of your wiring.

in extras then settings, you can see the log on mine behind the settimgs window
looks like you can select what type of 'info' you want logging.

digital volt meter, jsut wondered if you could check power or set ohms and check for a bad wire.
