v0.1:
Changes over TajGuy's 1.2 release linked above:

  • Fix: Various fixes in indicated speeds both in IAS and MACH
  • Fix: Speed dashes
  • Improvement: When showing MACH, the speed knob will increase / decrease by .01 mach, since the Winwing FCU can't display 3 decimal places (I haven't figured out if I can hide the 0 in, say, 0.82, so that we can display .823, and I didn't want it to show 8.23); note that this uses PMDG events, so you'll have to be slow with MACH changes, twisting the knob one at a time; multiple twists will not work consistently, as PMDG events are slower than direct controls
  • Add: Heading DOT mapped to LNAV light
  • Change: FCU A/THR light mapped to aircraft's A/T light, instead of A/T arm status
  • Change: Instead of using AP2 for disengage, both AP1 and AP2 have button press cycles that follow this order: A/P On -> A/P Disengage On -> A/P Disengage Off -> A/P On
  • Change: A/THR button now has a button press cycle that follows this order: A/T Arm On -> A/T On -> A/T Arm Off -> A/T Arm On

Does it still require a paid version of FSUIPC? Speed/Mach display doesn't work for me

It should work fine with the free version. you will likely need to enable the data ooutput options forthe pmdg sdk in the aircrafts options.ini file

EFIS L arrived today, so updated profile coming soon.

v0.2:

  • Add support for Winwing EFIS L

Known issues:

  • There's no way that I can tell to detect if STD mode is enabled, so 29.92 will be displayed as STD on the EFIS, even if STD mode isn't active

INOP / Not Applicable:

  • LS
  • CSTR
  • NDB
  • LEDs for WPT, VOR.D, ARPT

Glad to hear it!

I also made a modification to turn on the LEDs for WPT, VOR.D, ARPT using 3 internal variables with the drawback that we must not use the corresponding buttons on the VC Panel, otherwise we will lose the sync.. Works fine!

I tried that but it's not correct, as noted here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/629607-detecting-if-baro-mode-is-set-to-std-for-pmdg/#findComment-4910656

that's why i went with an internal variable

I'm finally getting the hang of Axis and Oh's, using it with an XTouch Mini. Thankful that there are many events already available to pick from to assign to the buttons, especially for the PMDG 737. I've now been building an aircraft automated script to set LEDs. That has been working well. I jus...

MACH value will only work once the aircraft itself is displaying MACH value under the speed tape. You'll notice that while on the ground or low altitude, if the speedtape is showing ground speed under it, even clicking the IAS / MACH switch in the cockpit will do nothing, and that's reflected in this FCU profile as well. Once you're in the MACH you'll be able to switch between them.

For what it's worth I tested with the FSUIPC7 free version and it worked just fine. I've attached what my 77W options.ini file looks like. I haven't tested with the 77F, but I've been told it works fine.
