Impressive

#

Very neat cable management

bold grove
#

hey you are also using the Carling switches!

drowsy portal
#

Looks juicy. What solenoids you used for breakers?

#

Aah OK

#

Yeah, you could add them later if you change your mind. Is it for MSFS? I don't know if DA62 actually has working circuits as there is a free mod made by one of the COWS developers

Nice!! I am also in the process of building a fully 3D printed DA62. Still a lot to do. What are you using for the MD302? Just as small monitor mounted vertically?

drowsy portal
#

hmmm so DA62 doesn't have any standby instruments? The only place for htem I see between radio and MFD

#

but not sure if that's the spot for them

desert karma
#

Did you get 2 of these? Unfortunately, theyโ€™re too big for my panel because when I designed it initially, I was thinking of foregoing the MD302 and display it outside the panel in a separate display.

drowsy portal
#

what display size are those displays in MD302? Wouldn't 2x 5" fit there?

#

There is one very thin one @bold grove tested while ago

desert karma
#

Awesome!

drowsy portal
#

ooh wait, I think I mixed the sizes. @bold grove what was the size of the square one you got?

bold grove
#

remember it can also be a regular widescreen mounted vertically

#

there is quite a lot of space and you might be able to fit both of the gauges there if they are popups in msfs

#

it was 4 inch square or something, search for wisecoco square 720x720 in aliexpress

#

but it is super fragile

drowsy portal
#

aa right 4.1"

bold grove
#

but on the 62, you could have a vertical wide monitor

#

on those two gauges

Are all the screens driven by the Sim PC?

bold grove
#

you should define a custom camera where you move the eyepoint forward so the glareshield is hidden behind the physical panel

desert karma
#

Awesome, this will be one of my references for my DA62 build. Thanks a lot!

#

@crimson rapids question, where did you get these little circles?

#

I need 6 (gears and flaps)

#

the little cover things

#

lids

#

not sure what to call them lol

#

that cover the leds

#

your sim looks really good

#

oh

#

never mind then

#

yes please that would be great

twin sage
#

I'm making my first flight sim right now and it is annoying having to look up every time I use the flaps and gears

#

it isnt supposed to be a replica of the da62 but as you can tell, it is heavily inspired

Hey! I absolutely love the build! ๐Ÿคฉ I'm working on the DA62 as well, but I'm having trouble popping out the two center screens in MSFS. I managed to pop out the two G1000 displays, but not the center screens. How did you do it ?

#

Where did u get laser cut panel files

regal linden
#

Ahh thanks, i will try the model from flightsim.to and try popping them out after the master power switch. I hope this will be already fixed when the MSFS2024 comes out in a few days. Probably not but lets hope for the best ๐Ÿ˜‡
