Anyone know why my mini fcu is displaying the numbers where it should be dashed.

Are the conditions right?

In the settings of mobiflight you can set the logging on debug. Pit that on. Change the speed or heading en check if there come some error message or what the variables are that will be set.

Using Fenix Quartz or not?

AFAIK, there are no native Lvars in Fenix to show the dashes status.

So Quartz is the only way

I would think that there are made to be displayed when special conditions are met because a native Fenix LVar was not designed to indicate the dashes?

Agree. I guess, they are a funny way to designate the Fenix Quartz dashes indicator Lvars that do exist.
