Sidestick not showing in MF input module

Hi all, Mobiflight yt video says that if a sidestick shows up in windows game controllers, it should show here.

I'm not seeing my sidestick, any tips? Thanks

I have the same stick, it definitely works. Can you show the peripherals tab in settings?

restarted MF and it shows up now

joysticks do not get detected when plugged in it seems, can you try restarting mobiflight after the joystick is plugged in, would it fix the issue?

yeah. dynamically detecting plugged in devices is pretty new feature, and I guess this is not yet implemented for joysticks

or there is a regression bug

no theres no app, just a driver

yea hmm, I use just the windows hid driver but I would guess that should not matter either

weird, as I have the exact same stick

joysticks don't have exclusive access like the serial usb for arduino or the midi devices

please turn on logging and set it to debug and share the log.txt file here

Mobiflight isn't seeing it at all, it's not showing up during startup detection. What does the game controllers control panel in windows show?

Search for "Joysticks" in the start menu and run this:

i have the same pedals

i can only think that the checkbox is not in sync with the setting and mobiflight is actually not enumerating joysticks

disable, close the dialog, open settings, enable again. close settings. open settings again.
