mobiflight v9.7.1 - FBW A32nx autopilot preset selection unable to work

Hi, I am using mobiflight ver 9.7.1. I am trying to map preset selection for AP1 and 2 to my 2 switches. When launching MSFS and run mobiflight, the switch just unable to turn on AP 1 and 2. Try all the push/ pull preset at the autopilot preset list, it seem that only encoder are able to map successfully. I can turn the encoder for ALT, HDG and SPD and my LED able to display the values. Only those that mapping to switches all can't work. I try EFIS preset list and able to turn on my LS and FD button.

Anyone can help or encounter this or did I need to change the preset code?

What is the hardware you are using? Do you see the button presses in Mobiflight logging mode?

Hi Jaime, I using rotary encoder with a push button switch to arduino mega. And yes, the logged mode did capture the button pressed but not showing at the sim when running FBW A320. All the pull/push buttons at FCU unable to engage. EFIS is ok, I tried out LS and FD button with the same switch and pin, it did engage FD and LS. That why not sure why FCU, the most important section in the sim.....lol

Just to verify, do you have a flight plan and is the airplane off the ground? AP1 and 2 won't turn on otherwise.

hi, no flight plan during testing of my switches. Yes I know without flightplan the ap1 & 2 can't engage. But at least when I push my switches, I should see the button animated as being pressed. But its seem nothing moving of the FCU button in the sim.

Why would getting the button animation be important at all? You won't be looking at the screen FCU once you get your physical FCU panel working.

I had a quick look at the FBW animation of the AP1 button. I had to zoom in really close to be able to tell the button was moving when I clicked on it with the mouse. I would expect running the H: event for this button should also trigger the animation, but I didn't test for that because I didn't have the time.
