How are you feeding power to the display that isn't working?
If you swap the two displays does the same one stay broken?

im powering it with the 5V pin, and let me check to see if swapping does anything

any time the display is gibberish like that it's one of these causes:
- Daisy chaining power across more than two displays
- Bad wires/bad wire connections
- Bad display (rare but happens sometimes)

also just swapped the displays and neither are working now...
ok restarted mobiflight and it is working
i think its a wiring issue
