I'm using simconnect A32NX speed selected and getting outputs of 990 instead of 099 for heading. This problem exists for hdg between 001 and 099. from 100 to 359 display agrees with the sim. What's happened here? thks

You just need to enable left padding with 0.

I'm using the right hand end of a 7 seg display for HDG. The HDG values are set to displays 6 7 8 already with left padding & 0 in the drop down next to the word Paddin. Do I need to have a separat config for HDG 001 to 099?

No, no need to have a special config for less than 100 heading. Please show your config. This is my config for the heading using the leftmost three digits of the total 8 digits.

It displays all heading values correctly with 0 padded on the left for headings less than 100. Two zeros padded for heading less than 10.

you are using space as left padding character? Should be zero.
