#mobiflight window losing focus

Is the gamepad a Windows HID device so access from Mobflight is direct?
Yes, it is. Here are screenshots from device manager and MF, if that would help. It is the original microsoft XBOX X controller connected via bluetooth. With another controller connected via a propriatry dongle, it works even when MF is in the background, but with the original XBOX controller - no, stops when MF loses focus.
try to dissable energy saving on device manager
I tried connecting via USB directly, even turned Bluetooth off. The buttons which are not mapped through MF work fine, but the one which is assigned through MF stops working when MF loses focus again. @lilac garnet when tried to connect via USB there was no energy saving option in Device manager.
maybe try to start Mobiflight in Admin mode.
tried running Mobiflight as Admin, didn't help
it might be an issue with the device type then - mobiflight doesn't request exclusive access on joysticks and events should be received also when the focus is not set to Mobiflight as you confirm it's working for other joysticks
does the gamepad have a switch to switch from xbox controller to standard direct input
it is a brand new original microsoft xbox X/S controller. I bought it to replace a Thrust YULA Gamepad which worked with mobiflight as expected in X-input mode.
I managed to solve the problem by using analogy to FSUIPC which also has issues with XINPUT XBOX controllers. In the readme of FSUIPC7 it is recommended to install and configure a conversion utility called XInput Plus to enable Direct Input. It has to be pointed to MFConnector.exe
