The skills feel very unwhelming:

  • It's physical dmg but doesn't have the versatility of the escarium mainhand.
  • Similar to prev point but specifically no shock, combust, bleed, etc.
  • The 4sp is an interesting nuke, but it has a once-per-adventure limitation. For 5sp, Shield of Esc is stronger and not limited.
  • The 0sp hits for 3x, but it hits front with weak dmg output, so it will usually just backfire against any offensive-style tank build or tank with an off pet.

Why handicap the latest weapon in the game? Surely it's better for a company to make a chase weapon that people want to use and don't always configure to offhand?

Here's my opinion to that Billy
-esca bonus is just 2sp storage increase compared to superpoly doubling ALL the myth equipments bonus you use, esca's mh power is the skills and poly's power is the bonus
-one goes to off hand the other keeps staying as mh so you have a lot of options and builds when having superpoly
-giving it elemental effects breaks the purpose of it and make it unbalanced
-it have 0sp non attack skill so you don't have to proc the enemies peta and Brains.

(I might be so wrong)

Ultimately, Esca and Harvester are all about the skills and the mainhand itself driving it's own value, Poly is on the complete polar opposite of that, being 100% about the rest of your build

#

With that said, it should compare favourably to regular Poly lol

The skills comparing favourably to a t10 mh is a very low target. At least remove the once per adventure wording on the nuke? It's already lower power than Shield of Esc.

You guys do want people to use the equipment you make right?

Sorry that was a bit harsh. I just want to use it is all, but it's a big sacrifice. 🤷

Billy i think they're trying to say that mh slot is different from the other slots since it changes your skills too and you depend on it mostly that's why they're trying to balance the mh bonuses with skills since either it has really good skills and mid bonus or mid skills and good skills (i know there's some with trash bonus and trash skills but you got what i mean)

As a supercharged, ultra expensive end-game ancient, I think it can have a good bonus and good skills.
