After latest update on steam and build id 18899178 the gear no longer shows the upgrade squares.

It could be that its maxed or that you have it locked through the lock button (top left there).

If you need to 'uptier' an item post Maxing, use Reforge tab

#

Also check filter (bottom left) that can cause things to not show.

I must be missing part of the issue. Sorry thought it was "my gear isn't showing up in Upgrade tab"

The team is investigating! We didn't make any changes to this part of the game, so it's quite confusing to see this issue appear suddenly

We're zeroing on the cause of the issue, and yes, it is tied to the latest release. The team will be working on a fix, but it may take some time.

The good news in the meantime is that this is just a visual error and it only seems to be appearing on most un-upgraded items.

It shouldn't have affected any items you've already upgraded, and upgrading an item that's missing its does seem to make them reappear based on my testing.
