Right, let me give you an example of the problem with this post - you say you wouldn't mind more quality cosmetics coming out - alright, let's say that happens, now we have cosmetics not coming out enough for other people meaning more complaint posts will come, not to mention they already removed the 1k cosmetic program because cosmetics were taking too long to make taking up precious time for actual game updates(t22, lore event, QoL, etc)(yes i understand im coping since we dont have them yet)

"unless they are convincing me enough" - see, that's the issue, "me" - as I said, they can't please everyone, no dev can. there will always be someone complaining about something - to touch on the special artist, sure I agree but that didn't happen, I've mentioned it a few times that if I personally was wealthy enough to hit 1k I would willingly pay an hourly rate to the devs to get my cosmetic made. I just prefer actual game updates to retain playerbase than better cosmetics for one person, I haven't heard anyone mention the quality of cosmetics recently, but yeah that's probably all i'ma say on this post so i'm not flooding it if others want to put their opinion here

I like the cosmetics in this game overall. Do I wish some weren’t behind a paywall yes but that’s to be expected when cosmetics are the endgame.

I think everyone has cosmetics they like and some (or a lot) they don’t. The amount of combinations however with appearance in this game has always been enjoyable for me. (Insert appearance token rant)

If the devs ever did need help though with cosmetics or other things I’m sure that there would be people in the community that would be more than happy to volunteer their time and ideas to keep the game fresh and functional.

Preferences exist everywhere - that’s what is great about life & it’s many hobbies.

  • you don’t like the cosmetics & that seems to mean it pushes you away = preference
  • others love the cosmetics (hit/miss) = preference
  • if cosmetics being ugly to you means you decide to quit = have a safe ride and don’t miss the exit
  • hopefully you find cosmetics you like that allow you to immerse yourself enough & enjoy stuff

As someone who’s main drive in this game is cosmetics, I sympathize with your thoughts of not getting exactly what you want. However, there’s a lot of good and amazing cosmetics I’ve seen come out this year! I really can see the efforts they’ve put forth. I hate to see ya quit but I understand sometimes a break is needed.

I am just wanting content at this point. Custom cosmetics was the gravy more cosmetics is more gravy. No new content i might just head off into the sunset at this point.

It's been mixed for me, as it's always been with BH cosmetics. I'm not a fan of the chicken cosmetics from the latest tier (sorry Ducky, hopefully you aren't offended by my anti-chicken cos stance being a Duck). On the flip side, the tetris, sonic ring, and space invader pets were fantastic additions, as was the Care Bear, and many of premium cosmetics like the space fighter jet from the video game event and the giant robot cos from this last event.

It's just subjective, and as usual you have to pick and choose what suits you.

I think better would be to suggest what types of cosmetics you like instead of saying they all suck. For example, after seeing @devout timber 's Doom cos, I would like to suggest some Doom themed cosmetics. I'd also love to see some high fantasy themed cosmetics: elves, dwarves, dragons, and most importantly, a d20 pet.

A d20 pet this man knows what he's talking about. btw it is important to mention the appearance change ticket, I know that it was withdrawn due to the issue of NFT characters but honestly, I don't think that the argument that was given is very valid. Among the styles that can be chosen, you cannot choose those of the NFTs, so I don't see the point in this, plus this ticket helps a lot to be able to find styles for the contests (ex T4 sword + dagger blond hair from female character, some dark suit like ninja from T1 (if my memory does't fail me) and you get Cloud from FFVII).
