#NERFS ON THE EVE OF A D4

I agree, I don’t think there’s enough being done to help spread useful information such as upcoming “balancing/updates” to the game, seems like a clique effect at the top, I get there’s NDAs and stuff surrounding certain game info but there is definitely some things that could be put out there to benefit the player base regarding information
This is the first time in a while we’ve seen nerfs, buffs, and most importantly, bug fixes. Sure it might have been bad timing that these things happened before the d4 but it is what it is
I agree, the problem is not even the nerf itself, the problem was announcing it 1 day before D4. That's exactly what I'm looking for, disclosure to the game base that unfortunately still lacks a lot in this game, unfortunately a small group of the game controls the information, just see who made the last d4
Monopolization of the D4... Small group controls the game...
Please. Elaborate.
Simple, you test the d4 before everyone else and have advance information on what will be nerfed (in the case of equipment) and you already know how to pass the d4.
So what's unfortunate about members of the community testing a D4 to ensure it's difficult and bug free? I'm confused
I can test it with my eyes closed but that probably won't do us much good
First few clears in the last d4 weren't done by RT members, btw. Just to point that out
While it is true we have access to certain info ahead of time, this is a volunteer position under NDA and, above all, we try to suggest changes that we believe are the best for the game's long-term health. Devs/Kong have the final say though as we are no more than that, volunteers. Same as for testing.
Would appreciate it if those accusations are withdrawn. Thank you.
Agreed on the above sentiments shared by Chuck & Aske.
A group of individuals handpicked by Kongregate to help work on the game / similarly to a group of individuals handpicked by Kongregate to receive perks & giveaway bundles as content creators …
I see two parallels that are being done in both good faith & good will towards the community / for the community.
To fault one with accusatorial language in an attempt to slander them is akin to anyone else calling out accusations against the other group also in my aforementioned comment…
Really low blow to speak on things as if they were fact & that the [RT] is operating with malicious intent to benefit themselves …
We’re 100% opt-in (no benefits or perks by way of
or anything else … maybe a Pat on the back from CMs & DEVs from time to time) … and we’re doing this on our own time.
i am in both camps, an RT member and a content creator. i made it plain I was not happy with any payments made for the content creator role, regardless of type (for my role within the programme). i am also not given anything for the role i have in the RT. i am unhappy with having my roles dragged through the mud, by a member of the content creator members. it is in really bad taste to do such a thing, especially when said content creator is producing content that may or may not hold such slanderous comments within. do we have to check all videos and monitor all streaming sessions to make sure we are not being slandered further?
