how do I get enough isk to buy 170Plex for omega to progress?

Ppl will want to know more information if they're trying to be genuinely helpful. What tier is your account? What method were you using to fund Omega before?

For instance, I could say... spend a few hours ratting CNDS and CTR with your corp mates, and you'll earn over 1 billion with even a basic carrier. But... that's not very helpful if you're t8 and don't have a null sec corp running cap specials with supers.

Got it. Well, I hope someone has good advice for you. With PLEX prices what they are, I can't imagine how you'd earn enough to pay for Omega at t7.

It is almost impossible now - what I did was buy a 3 month bundle which was enough for me to get to t10 and then I got a carrier and can now sustain basic omega on my acc for free

Idk yr total SP so u might need more or less time to get to t10 but that seems like the best method to me

The bundles give you some plex as well which u can save for future omega or sell to afford the ships u want

I got my carrier cheap cause my corp helped me build it

Spend money to progress faster it is.
Or take the longer grind till T8 get into a good ratting ship (Rattle, bhaalgorn) and ask in local chat of mission hub systems (clorteler, clarelam) for t10 missions.

But even then it will cost you quite some days to get enough for basic omega

Best advice is this

Since holidays are coming buy an omega bundle best you can afford save the plex. Buy the growth fund and collect all the plex. If you can buy the 180 day bundle you’ll get 2140 plex so 89.99 will cover 10 months of omega duo

Basically, yes. Plex price is inflated by ppl ratting in carriers or running missions in t10 ships, so you cannot realistically compete at t7. It’s a fundamental flaw of the game design, but the devs ignore routine and repeated suggestions to do something about it. At least you get faction battleships at t8, but I doubt you could afford to buy and/or fit one, if you can’t afford Omega. Your biggest problem, however, is that you appear not to have a corporation. You can’t realistically expect to do much but high sec missions without a corporation. Null sec would be suicide at t8, unless you were in your own sov.

Have you considered scanning?? This is lucrative way to earn isk. And can be done at your tech level. Bit expensive to setup but pays out well

If you have time to do it, it will fund your omega

I was tempted to suggest the same, but due to the fact he has only alpha clone this becomes very very luck dependant with only basic skills and no access (because of incredible prices) to good faction mods.

U could try to salvage in highsec islands, bit boring, but it is one way to get a stable source of income.

@north tusk get vexor, not navy or such, fitt it mwd with drone range and drone dmg in low, run news missions, build faction storyline missions, do them, each one will get you 400-500mill profit, bounty+reward+chest value(dont open it)
without counting news missions themselves. casualy log in when you got time, and just play the ones that you didnt did for completition.
this is puzzle mind game, not warcraft with super damage warriors and super tank warlocks...
just math and simple solution to a polution.
