Is there already something like Occam´s razor, which states something along the lines of "what you wish to be true is more likely false than true". It seems intuitive to me. Also, this seems like a better principle than its reverse: "what you dont wish to be true is more likely true than false". Or is this just "wishful thinking" repackaged?

There’s really no accurate heuristic concerning what someone wishes to make any good marker for probability
However, you are more likely to believe that which you want to believe, so a good strategy for finding the truth is to doubt what you want to believe more.
This will at least push you to investigate more and with a bit more scrutiny
