Fix the speed at which you can burn books to reduce skill level time

A recent update to the game made it so that when you hold click down on a book type to add books to burn it goes by much slower than before, making burning through skills even slower and more annoying than before, please fix this.

Yeah it's optimal to use 1200 books for the last two instead of 1800 into 1200, you waste less points that way

But that aside, this definitely needs to be fixed

what i consider optimal is all 1200 and then one 1800 at the end, or starting with the single 1800

The reason X books exist is so you can check on your school less often, twice a day is far better than 3x per day. There's no reason to use non-X books for this unless you're out of X books. Or if you're just rushing to max level in one session I guess

also checking on school isn't an issue for me. reason why i level with non-X books primarily is because X books are more efficient at burning than non-X; non-X books are also farmable so you won't run out of them using them to level

All books have the same efficiency for burning, the number of minutes they decrease the timer is directly proportional to the number of points they would increase the skill. The number of points per book only matters when the system is bugged, like right now. Under normal circumstances, instantly leveling a skill using level 1 books vs level 3 books takes the same amount of time

as you can see above, each non-X gold book burns 10 min off, each X book burns 60 min. but if you check their level efficiency, non-X gold are 8 hours for 1200 exp, X books are 12 hours for 1800 exp, so the exact same leveling efficiency

obviously you will have a considerably higher amount of non-X than X, if you use your X books to also level you may find yourself struggling a bit more if you need to burn. so i prefer burning with X books, i'll spend pretty much nearly all of them and just leave 10-20 as a buffer since i like to top off skills with one X book for that clean perfect exp finish wasting the least amount of time leveling possible

X books are only useful for school stuff so there's no problem leaving them there for that and burning most of them when you need. only time where you wouldn't want to follow this kind of strategy is maybe if you are extremely early game and using non-X to level is getting in the way of your upgrades but this quickly becomes a non-factor if you at all event farm; or if like you said you can't check on school very often. books in general aren't too much of an issue anyway, at least for me. i follow this and i burn pretty often, sometimes i dip into my non-X for burning but i have at least 4k+ of all so it doesn't really matter

OP is correct here.
Leveling should be 1 EX, rest non-EX.
EX has much better burn efficiency so waste as little as possible for regular training.

The new friend exp stages basically make skill training even more of a moot point.
Dumping 24 straight hrs in that is at close to 3 characters worth of burn.
Considering friend release rates and all other book sources, the only thing stopping an established player from burning is their book count being aesthetically unpleasing for a few days.
In such cases, just train normally.

I just use EX. If i need to burn for books for whatever reason, usually the tower cause im bad, i burn from the 1 minute and 3 minutes books first simply because of how easy you can grind them back.
