Yes, it is called full breaking, each barrier is breaked when they are hitted with a bullet line which has an element that is effective against the enemy, or when they are infused with an anomaly and are hitted with a bullet line that has an anomaly breaker.

When the enemy runs out of barriers the full breaking happens.
