if that does not work, i concede and you can clear your userfolder

Hello everyone! Could pls someone tell me, is a bunch of errors "error in mod manager: invalid zip file" while trying to connect to the server means corrupted files?

@torpid junco make sure youre launcher is in the same file loctaion as youre beamng is, like if its on youre external harddrive then youre gonna have to put the beammp launcher on the external harddrive, and when you do open beammp, keep the cmd opened in the background, do not close out of it. this alone should fix youre issue, everyone ik whos had the issue youre having has been fixed with this.

Why does my game continuously crash and refuse to let me join my own server, but I can play the exact same map with the exact same mods in single player just fine? I already cleared cache, verified integrity on steam, tried launching beammp with no mods at all, removed all my mods from the server and tried 10 diff maps, 5 of which were vanilla maps, literally nothing works. The weirdest thing is, very rarely (only as of very recently) it’ll let me in but the second I try to open the map or spawn a vehicle, boom, game crashes. I want to believe the issue is on my end somewhere, I just genuinely don’t know what else to change as nothing has really changed since like a week before this started happening. No new mods, no new maps, no bs updates, pc is completely up to date and that includes drivers. Even had 2 of my friends (both with the EXACT same mods as me) try to join the server and they were able to join and play it no problem. Like bro, wtf else is the issue here?

Content folder is a commonly placed folder where people put mods in. That is a very bad thing to do since it messes with the game. Having a single files already causes issue

It's important to check if there are any extra files in it

Even if you disable mods, mods in the content folder still are active in the game, which cause everything to bug.

But I'm only 90% sure mods in content folder are the issue. That's why a ticket would be better to track what has been done and to test out other possibilities

I think Windows is unable to allocate a bigger swapfile because the disk is full
so ig you can move some of your files to another drive and increase the minimum swapfile size (there are tutorials online for managing swap settings)

the DISM commands are a bit more advanced (Microsoft Learn has documentation on that) and it's been a while I haven't used them but they allow removing files of older Windows updates, which sure can be an issue but can also save you several GBs that were only used in the event that your updates broke something (but as long as Windows isn't broken right now you can remove these files without issues indeed)
