Also, your admin powers won't work with Nickel, like CE. Your name changes guest###### everytime you join your server, unless Nickel has admin by ip which I wish CE had.

Use the Radial menu
the trick is to pack your changes only, not the entire map again
if done correctly your changes should be a very small mod
So when i do that it combines the two maps
So lets say like for example the exhaust shop, Lets say i change the sign. Instead of it only being my sign change itll have my sign change and the old sign there

Itll have the old terrain where it was at with new terrain at where thats at
and if the new terrain is under old terrain then it obviously isnt useable or seen

My practice in BeamMP, and to each their own,
Is any time you mod a mod, or mod a base game level, it is redundant and inefficient to alter the mod and include your changes and repack it under the same name, based on a few different reasons, such as server hashing, and the mentioned client cache bloat. What works extremely well, is hosting the original mod untouched, and for your mod of that mod, a patch mod if you will, you host ONLY the changed or added files in that zip.
This means that, you and other servers are not taxed on bandwidth, you are all less likely to have to even send the base mod or level to a client, because the client can have it cached already, if your version of the base mod is even 1 byte different, the client must download it, etc

For example. I removed some terrain and made a mud pit for trucks. In the same sense i cutout part of a mountain for a rally. I also removed a few houses and replaced them. So ur saying because of these changes its better off repacking as a whole new map?

If changes are purely edits to existing files or additions, then it's easy for the game to apply those over when the level loads and then the patch, if there are removals, it's not able to not load something present in the patch because the base mod already loaded it

So my world edits started with the base of the rls mod and added some stuff aswell. I did a few weird changes and had the same issues. I noticed rls had a script that would load map changes and delete level stuff from base west coast. I copied that into my addons file and it started working for me as intended

Launch it through the command prompt.
Find "CMD" in your programs, right click on that, run as administrator
Then type in the path to your .msi file. Something like C:\users\your-username\downloads\name.msi

This is a well-known BeamMP issue. Here's what to try:

This is a known BeamMP bug โ it's on the official known issues list
BeamMP is documented by BeamNG themselves as causing broken force feedback after game updates, alongside broken bindings and UI issues. BeamNG Documentation So your friend isn't alone. -
Most likely cause: Mod conflict
Installing certain mods can cause force feedback (and vibration) to be lost when switching vehicles, customizing vehicles, exiting to walk, and other situations. Tricky's Server Even if the mods seem unrelated to input/FFB, they can interfere.
Fix: Launch BeamNG in Safe Mode (Launcher โ Support Tools โ Safe Mode) which disables all mods. If FFB works there, a mod is the culprit โ disable them one by one to find it. -
Check FFB is actually enabled for the steering binding
Go to Options โ Controls โ Vehicle, select the Steering binding, scroll down to Force Feedback Configuration, and make sure "Enabled" and "Use gamepad vibration" are both checked. A good starting strength value is around 100. SteamDB -
If using Logitech (G29/G920/etc.)
Logitech GHub has a known bug that can break FFB across all games. Uninstalling and reinstalling GHub may help โ Logitech is aware of it. BeamNG Documentation Also make sure GHub is running before launching the game. -

This is a reported BeamMP-specific issue where spawning or changing a vehicle config causes the steering wheel to lose all force feedback. BeamMP The workaround is to go back to the main menu and rejoin the server after switching vehicles, or avoid switching cars mid-session. -
Alt-tabbing kills FFB?
Force feedback is also known to break when switching to another program and coming back BeamNG Documentation โ BeamNG has a separate fix page for this. Keep the game focused and avoid alt-tabbing.

Problem
Your Xbox controller was detected by Windows as an HID device but not via XInput. BeamMP relies on XInput to detect controllers, so it couldn't see your
controller at all.
Root Cause
A leftover HID filter driver called `{acsehidremap}` was registered in the UpperFilters registry key for the HID class. This filter was intercepting the
controller and preventing Windows from loading the proper Xbox GIP driver (xboxgip.inf), which is what enables XInput support.
What I Fixed
1. Removed `{acsehidremap}` from the UpperFilters registry key at:
1 HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da}
2. Removed and reinstalled the controller device, which forced Windows to re-enumerate it with the correct Xbox GIP driver instead of the generic HID driver.
Result
The controller now shows up as "Xbox Gaming Device" and is detected by XInput as Controller 0, which BeamMP can see and use.

if you're hosting local and using ethernet and wifi at the same time, I believe your computer will prioritize ethernet traffic
either way, it's best to use ethernet instead of wifi for stability and lower latency
