#Mage “subclasses”

this is probably a terrible idea again but I think it’d be pretty cool if you could choose from different “sets” of incantations or subclasses in the augment menu for tome and wand

for example, something like a hemomancy tome, which increases damage slightly for each kill without taking damage. (or just take their blood to do blood spells or smth)

or a psychic tome that allows you to throw objects like boxes at enemies.

or a necromancy tome that allows you to summon one of the last three enemies you killed instead of incantations (not including bosses)

again, probably a terrible idea, but I just like sharing this stuff for the fun of it.

drawing the tomes variants was pretty fun

it’d also be cool if the necromancy thing could spawn in a pretty tanky but slow version of the wisp

I don't know if they'd have specific titles or presets, but i feel like we'll already be getting something like this eventually, i swear i've heard talk of more choice over what spells you have or something

Erthu mentioned changing spells with augments

Anyway I dont know exactly how to feel about Necromancy spells as it could be tricky to balance

#

It could either be op or really underwelming

the other two are cool though imo

Necromancy might be a bit overpowered, but like a wisp summoning class set could be really cool! Wisps are already like cubes of ghost juice or something
