after fighting one mad merchant and fumbling with a couple items, my orb of fury became unbrakable, followed a floor later with the mad merchant being the same way after fighting him, I was playing the most recent version in single player on oculus, idk if its the same bug, sorry if it isnt, but it does seem that way as it happened in the same run, same effect, kinda, and same seeming cause

is the mad merchant thing related do you think?

I believe the orbs are suspected to be like this because of killing the merchant, so perhaps it is linked. Did you get the orb from a killed merchant?

I think what the problem could be (not a Dev, so🧂 ), that the new invincibility system doesn't remove the invincibility from shop orbs when killing merchant instead of buying
