#Hagglers mark breaks speedrunning

If you get hagglers mark early on, it completely skips 60-70% of the area you need to complete, so it's a must have for world records

Id place the merchant at a random spot instead right next to the boss room, to keep it from being too op.

This is from my experience, Ive gotten a 15 minute run while having 5 wins at the time and not being a good speed runner at all. Now, with 17 wins, I'm tryna speedrun and I get avg 23ish minutes without the mark.

(I'm using wand for speedrunning fight me)

Doesn't it need like 50 kills to charge though?

That's not that much, if you get the slime king, he's like 30, so the infested is almost instantly done. I've found i skip more than I explore

It also skips all relics and rewards in a dungeon

Additionally, speedrunning is LITERALLY luck based in a roguelike. RNG is what makes every run unique in a roguelike, and is a core aspect of fast times in any speedrun for games that has any RNG elements, just look at how lucky and skilled you have to be to speedrun Minecraft

You also have to waste time getting kills in order to charge the mark, you don’t want to be wasting time farming kills when you are going fast
It’s good for a floor skip, but in reality messengers mark is much more impactful to a speedrun. Increase base move speed, dash at the cost of a single kill, and you can use that dash to quickly dispatch the skull rooms at beast because of invincibility

Oh yeah, another point: the last time I check the current wr for solos, it was still a run from long before we had hagglers and it took 5+ mins
