i think there should be relics that are exclusively for fists or that sometimes relics give fists upgrade design just for fun, i think it would also make it pretty cool if in the future multiplayer we can see each others fancy items on our avatars and what not
the beast potion that gives you a little beast tentacle on your hand is a good example of a relic that goes on the fists

The spikes are close enough to not really be able to break skin effectively, if there were one long spike it’d be different

These protect your hands way more, too
Brass knuckles have a space between the brass and the hand, meaning all of the force of the punch goes into your palm. The caestus are basically mma gloves but thinner and with metal which could hit against your fingers
