The link above was a video of the issue. Well, I'll run you guys through it again I suppose.

#

I've used Twitch Studio in the past, and I've had no issues with it. I have a decent rig (R7 3800x, RTX 3070 and 2x16 GB of RAM at 3200 MHz), but I came back to Twitch Studio again only to find out my display capture was VERY laggy, even if not streaming/recording. I don't know what's going on as I've never had that issue before, and I also tried reinstalling Twitch Studio. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

What are your twitch studio stream quality settings?

#

Are you capturing the application directly or entire monitor?

I have never had this problem before

#

and in this case, I am capturing my entire monitor

#

but I tried exclusively doing it with an application and it's the same thing. Don't know what's up with that really

#

I even tried opting in for the experimental betas to see if that would help but it didn't

Try dropping fps to 30

#

See if it smooths you out.

I haven't had issues with 60 before, which is why I find this weird. I much prefer streaming at 60. Maybe I'll use something else temporarily as I can see others are having similar issues on here...?

Check gpu drivers and stuff.

#

Can you also submit a bug report. If it worked prior.

Running the latest ver of my drivers, including those of my GPU and my CPU's chipset drivers

Sure, it'll wait a bit but I can most certainly do that
