Cant here friends audio in my stream | Twitch Studio | Page 1

While in a group with my friend we can hear each others audio in both party and squad chat. However, my stream is unable to pick up his mic audio, it is perfectly silent. But, on his stream you can hear both of us.

Additional information:

He is streaming from twitch studios on his PC and I am streaming from the Twitch app on my PS5. We have streamed other cross-platform games in the past together and haven’t had this problem. Is there anything we can do to fix this? (He is on a windows computer, and I believe he may have a setting that is preventing his audio from being shared.)

we don't support PS5 here

You probably have to look through PS5 settings to see how you can share party chat.

where's the chat going to? controller?

if you have a headset going to the controller, HDMI won't hear it

Yes, but I thought there might be a setting or something within his PC that may be blocking his audio from being shared.

similar to how I have to enable party audio so that the audio from players in the party can allowed your voices.

so I’m wondering if there is a setting that he could enable on his side to allow his voice to be shared.

Because on other games, we do not have this problem.

you are streaming directly on PS5... you have to find a setting to add party chat. it has nothing to do with what others are doing

But I feel like there is something about the wording in this option that is preventing him.

“Including audio from players, in parties, who allow their voices to be shared.”

so I’m asking if there is a setting, that he could adjust to allow his voice to be shared on my stream.

again that would be a game setting... but if he's not on PS4/5. there's no such setting... Ask Sony
