custom alerts aren't working

whenever i try use a custom gif for an alert, it just loads indefinitely and never shows. attached is what it looks like:

just this forever

and now its just this instead.

Could you attach the asset you are trying to upload? I will send it over to the Alerts team and see if they can figure out what's wrong with it.

well it doesnt really matter which one i use. i've went through numerous gifs for it but its the same error every time

here's 2 of the test ones

interesting, i downloaded the penguin and on discord it didn't have a file extension

so i saved it as "hello.gif" and it uploaded fine for me!

can you double check your file name?

ohhh another thing is you can check your Asset Library (it's the button under Upload file) and see if the file is somehow already uploaded

finally worked now idk what was the issue

i restarted my pc and everything and it still wasnt working before

No worries, yeah I know the asset upload is super finicky - I know the alerts team is working on improving it but it's hard to fix!
