Opponents can just place Baseball pitchers RIGHT on the middle of the map and the parked garbage truck, this basically means you can't go outside unless you even try to get rid of them

we had 2 pointing at their base and 1 point each other direction

so they couldnt even approach it to destroy it without taking dmg

and then they're down however many baseball pitchers they used for their defense

also they already got a nerf health/damage. They are not as good as you think once you destroyed them all no more so.

there is no way to take them out easily without having to do tedious things to just go outside the south base

Chad can shoot if with vacuum, Doreen can ult it, if you have a gramps he can easily assist someone to destroy it, kim can throw the wrench at range, Kevin can range it down, PA can ult it or cannon it, Mary Jean can't do much so it's not on her, and Louie can destroy it at range with bombs. If you have enough boxes an orange launcher works as well to take it out. Drivebys can also be effective depending on where they are but ofc the last 2 options require resources.

wrench throw or kevin sling is not a reasonable way to deal with it

wrench has a pretty long cooldown and idk how much it does to structure and kevin shot does like 6 to structure

but ya ur pretty much always gonna have at least 1 guy who has an option to deal with it and u could use an AC130 too

Charged wrench -> use sprint to finish it off. Might have to sacrifice for it if there are multiple there. And it might take a bit but 8ish shots from Kevin should be enough, and he has the best range outside of orange

I wouldn't really want to counter it because in general it's only for one base for the garbage truck where you can't even exit the house, that shouldn't even be there in the first place

Turrets have been op since everyone’s figured out how to properly abuse buildables

Good teams use the turrets to just lock down your house and put them in spots where chicken van can’t egg them

Kim’s turret exacerbates this since you can just stack a turret right on top of another

And you basically have to suicide on them to destroy it since for some reason they have buildable damage reduction

They should take full damage from everything and have a build restriction so they can’t be stacked and it would be fine more or less

They aren’t that bad by the time you have even tech you can just ac-130 their entire setup, it’s just a skill issue people haven’t adapted to yet

i have played the game alot but even then its still pretty unfair for only one house on harmony

Having to call in ac 130 bird is gonna make you lose the game since you basically afk for a minute.
The birds value is so little if people know how to properly play at all.
Not to mention a competent rusher just renders it useless.

Meanwhile they can get away with only using 1 turret to absolutely lock you down and replace it 25 seconds later

Items have limits right, the pitcher you can only have 10 of and it should 100% be like 20+ default

As is it’s a perfectly balanced item that has multifaceted uses and provides a lot of answers

For offensive and defensive players, as do many of the traps in this game

Can wipe out 2-5x its value on average if they’ve set up outside the house

It’s literally a risk vs reward factor, if you nerf the pitchers potential in mid you basically make chess but one side/style is inherently stronger

One turret CANNOT lock you down im the progenitor of this cringe strat afaik

It’s barely worth doing quite frankly pitchers in the base have way more longevity and value a single PA ult can wipe a nest out
