Recommendations for strong, sturdy jump rings

I'm working on creating chatelaines. I have bought several different brands of jump rings for the clips that always seem to stretch open, causing the item disconnect. Any suggestions of brands that are durable and won't pop open when items like watches or keys are clipped on?

There are jump rings that are a lot more like a key ring. Those are my go-to when regular jump rings aren't cutting it.

Yeah, if you are not too concerned about the modern appearance, steel split rings are a good answer.

I looked for some but didn't find any small and then enough for my connectors. Suggestions are welcomed for places to look/purchase.
