Leather Pauldron I made as a gift for my partner for Larp. Used a pattern off Etsy with some tweaking.

Very cool. I think I have that same stamp floating around, but I haven't been game to use it on a big piece yet. The snake/dragon scale stamps can look really goos on the right pieces, and you've definitely got one of them here!

Thank you! My partner doesn't mind the slip up on the one piece so I didn't remake it. It's jarring to me though 😅

I think it's a great stamp - our current characters are from a seafaring nation that have scale mail in the brief so it was very fitting. It matches the bracers I also made

Sewn on! It would probably be less work to make a sheet of scalemaille and then just attach that instead of sewing each individual scale on though

But for gauntlets I dont think that would work anyway

I am drilling a few extra holes in 16 of my scales for sewing on to my gauntlets. Although if need be I’ll sew more no worries lol
