Hello monkeys DumbBabu

I'm trying to up my crochet game, but I bit more than I can chew at the moment and need some help there

I'm at line 7-8-9 of this pattern, where the cabling starts and it looks awful, irregular and with holes in my several attempts

I learnt how to dcbp trbp and the equivalent in front, that was my last leveling up BananaOffering

I'm at lost with the last part of the cable description : "1 trfp around each skipped post st".
Wtf am I supposed to do there ?

I tried to ignore this, but of course it looks bad.
Basically I create a hole when I do the "skip 2 sts and 2 sc" part, and this hole is never really filled afterward in my end results. I'm missing something

Have you ever done a cable by knitting before? Where you have to slide the stitches to the other needle? It looks like that is what they are describing just in crochet terms and with one needle. Hope that helps.

I'm not totally sure of what I'm doing but using this video, I managed to go forward on my work. Still looks like craps tbh, but way less holes and looking closer to what it should

I'll snap a pic when I repeat the pattern few times, hopefully the pattern will come through a bit more sharply (right now the pictures show nothing, it needs more work)

I don't have much experience on crochet cable so I tried Google some of the terms to see what the results would be and then click around on the suggested YouTube videos until I found one that look promising

Well the algorithm decided for me to suffer on this one, I couldn't find a relevant one. And yours even have multi colour example, which is always clearer and easier to follow

Took me few loops to achieve it, but I just finished a proper pattern right now
