#RP2 Radiomaster flashing

Hello everyone,

I have a Radiomaster training module and an RP2 receiver in it.
I was able to successfully set up a Wi-Fi network via the web interface and the local address 10.0.0.1. Since then, I have not been able to access the web interface.
However, the ExpressLRS Configurator can find the device on the Wi-Fi network.

Now I am trying to install firmware with a binding phrase using the ExpressLRS Configurator. No matter which version I try to install, I always get this message during the upload:

If you entered your home WiFi network info it is connecting to it. That option creates more hassle than it’s worth. I would reset it and flash it with your bindings phrase through the ExpressLRS configurator. Joshua Bardwell has a short YouTube video on it.

Hei sharptailhunter, so i need a hardware programming adapter? Joshua is talking about it. Is there a way without bying stuff to reset the RP2?
Thanks for the info, that you recommend to not use my home WiFi.

To access the WebUI if you have entered your homenetwork credentials use elrs_rx.local instead of 10.0.0.1

For flashing try to get closer to your router.

Hello everyone,
I have now purchased a USB UART flasher from Radiomaster. (Like Joshua)
I had to bridge two contacts for bootloader mode and was then able to install the latest software via UART.

So far, it's working, but I don't want to test whether I can also connect the receiver to my home Wi-Fi without it becoming inoperable again. (If this is important to any of you, I can of course do it.)

Thank you very much and best regards

Just a minor clarification, you flashed firmware onto the receiver, not software. It kinda sounds like semantics but they are different things. Would avoid entering your home WiFi network credentials. Generally it causes more problems than it helps. Most everyone I know updates the firmware on their devices using the access point created by the device and its associated website (ip address 10.0.0.01).
