Dear all,
I think that I damaged my old HappyModel ES24 2.4GHz TX V1 with no recovery option. But let me try to ask here. I had the space problem, when I wanted to flash 3.x ELRS firmaware so I flashed repartitioner.bin on original V1 firmware. I did not update to 2.5.1 before. After flashing repartitioner.bin, I have now only "BEGIN LOG2025-12-13T13:38:20.688Z Filesystem: used: 0 / free: 128261" 128261 bytes free, so I can't flash anything 🙁 Neither the original firmaware, which worked before. No force flash or deletion works, nothing and I read many articles and tried a lot of options.
Tried also HappyModel, but they did not know neither...
One more note, I also failed to flash backpack. I have never done this before so if somebody believe, that this could be path, I can share erros, which I got for backpack flashing.
Thanks for help and regards
Petr

Any tip, what is wrong? I did not see space error issue. COM Port is open.
why are you still flashing 2.x?
flash it with 3.6.2
because it doesn't have space for 3.x
it doesn't matter for flashing via UART/USB
looks like issue with the port, but as I have it on printscreen above, COM5 is open, I installed recommended driver
what other app is open that's also using COM ports?
do you have Cura Slicer open?
Betaflight Configurator?
close those..
or reboot the computer and start over
also make sure the jumper blocks are already in the right position
yes, trying on another computer
and thanks for your help, appreciated
I have jumpers in TX update position
other computer, which is generally empty, also did not connect, but it run with several dots on screen, but no extra message. I will try to install there the recommended driver, it run on Intel
with several dots on screen
that means the connection is not there..
are you sure the module is being detected by this computer PROPERLY?
is it connecting to the correct COM port?
can you post a photo/screenshot of the device manager, with Ports grouping expanded?
(while the tx module is plugged in into usb of course)
I think I succeeded :-), wil test it in Radio now. I am very happy. Stupid COM port, I would not believe it...
confirmed, works, how can I appreciate your help/guidance?
I spent myself hours to flash it..., you helped me a lot
"thanks" should suffice
