#cannot flash elrs reciever through recovery dongle

i have a
HGLRC Hermes 2.4GHz RX
ExpressLRS Recovery Dongle
CP2102x driver installed on pc

i have checked the cables 10 times and everything is connected right,
GND - GND
5v - 5v
RX - TX
TX - RX
i tried to update the drivers and install from different sources
i selected the right COM in the Expresslrs configurator
i selected the right device
i selected the UART flashing method

but it still doesnt work, what am i doing wrong? would rly appreciate it if you help me

could you post a photo of how it's wired into the adapter? and screenshot of device manager showing the com ports, with the adapter connected to usb

try improving those solder joints, making sure they aren't shorting with ANY components next to them

unless your eyes have some form of continuity tester
