Hi,

I have a relatively old external 2.4G external module from Happymodel. I bought it in 2021 and I only did some tests with it using EP1 rx. It was successful I was able to upgrade the FW on both the Rx and Tx and it was working perfectly when I connected to an FC.

Now I would like to use it again but I’m unable to upgrade the FW on the Tx module. I succesfully switched to module to wifi mode and I’m able to connect it from the browser but the update always fails.

Thank you it worked. I managed to update the FW and now the wifi update is also working. As I understand i had a very old FW which does not allow the update via wifi.

Now I have issue with the Happymodel EP1 receiver. :)))

Same old FW and I tried to update it via betaflight passthrough. The physical connections and FC config looks good, I get the below error message:

Enabling serial passthrough...

Wrong target selected your RX is '2000', trying to flash 'UNIFIED_ESP8285_2400_RX'

Disabling Telemetry in Betaflight helps

i tried it but still not working. i have different logs:

can you make sure Telemetry is disabled in Betaflight configurator please..
then close betaflight configurator and unplug-replug the flight controller to usb

then try again. if that still doesn't work, reflow the joint of the receiver wiring, making sure none of the pads are shorting to one another
